“Life should not be a journey to the grave
with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and
well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside
in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”
(Hunter S. Thompson)
I was born on August 19th 1967 in beautiful Munich, Bavaria.
I did my middle maturity on Werner-von-Siemens-Gymnasium in Neuperlach (part of Munich).
After one year on a carpenter-school I decided that carpentering is not the right thing for me to do.
I live in Dachau near Munich and work for BMW.
Interests: My passion is traveling
What I like to do in addition to that:
Snowboarding, cycling, climbing, hiking, photography, good food, movies
I started using a disposable camera, then there was a Retina-Camera from my grandmother. You had to work with a exposure meter to take pictures. Unfortunately it got stolen in Costa Rica.
Followed by a Canon A1, which accompanied me for long years.
After that I finally decided to switch to a digital SLR camera and now I had a Canon EOS 400D for 8 years.
To leave everything behind and travel around the world for good, but I guess I will have to wait until retirement.
Familystatus: happy together with Martin since 2008
